He would still have an ego, but it would take a little hit. However, with his franchise quarterback signed to a long-term deal, there is no need to develop Trey Lance any further.<\/p>\n
Trey Lance could move on and see if he has what it takes to lead a team for the second time. It\u2019s not a bad idea to trade him off while the need for a quarterback is present for another team.<\/p>\n
Will this be something the Dallas Cowboys pull off? Probably not, but the idea of being able to unload an unneeded player seems like the way to go.<\/p>\n
