Dallas Cowboys\u00a0pass rusher\u00a0Micah Parsons\u00a0is one of the best defensive players in the NFL \u2014 and with Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb now under contract for the future \u2014 he\u2019s next in line for a major payday.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are plenty of NFL fans and even some insiders wondering how the\u00a0Cowboys will find a way to pay Parsons, who will be seeking a contract to make him the highest paid defensive player in the NFL.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If Parsons doesn\u2019t ink a new contract after the 2024 season, he will have plenty of suitors lining up to pay him big money to help their defense. The\u00a0Cowboys star has at least 13 sacks in 3-straight seasons which has earned him All-Pro honors.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So far in 2024, he has one sack and seven tackles.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

On his latest podcast episode, Parsons went above and beyond praising the Houston Texans making fans believe that\u2019s where he wants to play in the future.<\/p>\n

I mean they\u2019re playing elite defense as well as elite offense<\/em>.\u00a0Coach Ryans, what he\u2019s doing over there, he\u2019s special bro. I\u2019ve been watching \u2019em man. Those young cats is hoopin\u2019. \u2026 That Texans team is going to be a deep playoff team, man. Especially how C.J.\u2019s playing, that defense is playing. It\u2019s gonna be special<\/em>,\u201d Parsons said<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Naturally, fans took Parsons\u2019 comments as him saying he wants to leave the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0to play for the Texans.<\/p>\n

Sounds like he wants to be apart of something great,\u201d said one comment.<\/p>\n
