The Chiefs QB made a statement earlier this year about his outlook toward politics with he upcoming election.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think I\u2019ve always said that I don\u2019t want my place or platform to be used to endorse a candidate either way,\u201d Mahomes said when asked about his political beliefs.<\/p>\n

But the wife of the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0quarterback liked some social media posts highlighting Donald Trump\u2019s plans. Recently, Brittany backtracked a bit on her support for Trump due to his harsh comments aimed at her friend, Taylor Swift, Swift is dating\u00a0Chiefs\u00a0star tight end Travis Kelce and publicly endorsed Kamala Harris following the debate two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
There were rumors that the two good friends were in a disagreement due to political views because they didn\u2019t sit together in the Week 1 game, but they quickly cleared them up by sitting together in the Chiefs\u2019 second game of the season.<\/p>\n

Brittany Mahomes is clearly Caucasian and married to Patrick, who is mixed race.<\/p>\n
Unsurprisingly, hosts on \u201cThe View\u201d have taken issue with Brittany Mahomes\u2019 support of Donald Trump. But this week, one host decided to call out Brittany Mahomes\u2019 interracial marriage. Brittany is white and her husband, Patrick Mahomes, is biracial with a Black dad and white mom.<\/span><\/p>\n
Sunny Hostin called out the wife of the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0QB, attacking her biracial marriage.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt just seems to me that since she is in an interracial marriage, she should have known that to support a racist is problematic. Her children are biracial and her family is one of the families that in the \u201970s could not have lived in any of Donald Trump\u2019s buildings,\u201d Hostin said.<\/p>\n
Whoopi Goldberg, another host of \u201cThe View,\u201d sounded off on Brittany Mahomes, too.<\/p>\n

Despite all of the off-the-field drama, the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs look like one of the best teams in the NFL yet again, cruising to a 2-0 start to kick off the new NFL season.<\/p>\n
Politics have intersected with the\u00a0Chiefs\u00a0on multiple occasions, with Swift\u2019s relationship with Kelce and her support for Harris, to kicker\u00a0Harrison Butker\u2019s controversial graduation speech\u00a0and his open support of conservative viewpoints since facing backlash since the speech.<\/p>\n
Now, Brittany Mahomes is the focal point for her outspoken views \u2014 and because she\u2019s married to the\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs QB\u00a0\u2014 her opinions have been thrown into the national spotlight.<\/p>\n
