Insiders claimed that a betrothal between the superstar, 34, and her football player boyfriend, 34, is on the horizon.<\/p>\n

Per a report by\u00a0Page Six, sources alleged that the Kansas City chiefs tight end is ready to put a ring on it and has been planning a proposal.<\/p>\n

\u2018The engagement is happening soon,\u2019 one insider stated \u2014 just days after fans claimed the couple were actually married and tied the knot in secrecy.<\/p>\n

However, a representative for Kelce denied any official engagement plans in a statement to the outlet.<\/p>\n

As rumors heat up about the couple\u2019s possibly imminent engagement, other fans have been speculating that the football player has already proposed to Swift.<\/p>\n

The outlet reported that the wife of a top Chiefs executive was overheard telling her friends that Kelce and Swift were already engaged in a suite at a Morgan Wallen concert in Kansas City on Thursday.<\/p>\n

It is unclear if she accidentally slipped up about a secret betrothal or if she was just repeating rumors.<\/p>\n

The speculation comes as Swift and Kelce are set to celebrate their first anniversary.<\/p>\n

The couple first confirmed they were an item when Swift showed up to cheer Kelce on at the Chiefs\u2019 home game in Kansas City at Missouri\u2019s Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n

Back in December, Page Six reported that Kelce was shopping for an engagement ring.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Kelce is prepping for the upcoming NFL season but has been a main fixture at the singer\u2019s shows.<\/p>\n

He even joined her onstage for a surprise skit during her Tortured Poets Department set of her London concert back in June.<\/p>\n

And between concerts and cities, Swift has often opted to spend her breaks jetting off for romantic getaways and enjoying enchanting dates with her beau.<\/p>\n
