At the beginning of the regular season, the\u00a0Philadelphia Eagles\u00a0defense struggled to do the simple.<\/p>\n

Tackling, pass coverage, run defense, it all seemed to be a massive struggle for\u00a0the Eagles\u00a0and new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. The group was among the league’s worst in most categories as well.<\/p>\n

After the bye week, things have drastically changed for the defense, and it all came ahead in their blowout win over the\u00a0Cincinnati Bengals\u00a0on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia held an offense with\u00a0Joe Burrow\u00a0and JaMarr Chase to just 17 points and under 300 yards of offense in the team’s 37-17 win – the first for the Eagles in Cincinnati in franchise history.<\/p>\n

“Win, dominate, execute,” linebacker Nakobe Dean said after the win to John McMullen. “I don\u2019t really know how to feel \u2026 To us, it\u2019s the same thing every week. We\u2019re going to come in, we\u2019re going to dominate. We know we\u2019re playing a real good quarterback, with a real good offense, probably one of the best we\u2019ll face. We had a plan, we stuck to the plan, like we do every week.”<\/p>\n
