Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0listed Sean ‘Diddy<\/span>‘ Combs as one of her dream prom dates in a resurfaced interview from 2011, when she was only 21 years old.<\/p>\n

A fan posted the old clip to\u00a0TikTok<\/span>\u00a0this week, in the wake of\u00a0Diddy’s downfall amid allegations he engaged in crimes such as rape and sexual assault<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Diddy\u00a0was indicted on charges including sex trafficking in September, months after video footage\u00a0surfaced of him violently assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the clip\u00a0from 2011, Swift was on Rachael Ray, where several pictures of ‘music icons’ were spread in front of her and she had to pick from among them to answer questions like: ‘Who on this table would you most like to borrow their wardrobe?’<\/p>\n

When she was asked which stars she would take to prom, Swift chose a ‘group’ of people – including Diddy, whom she said had ‘always been very nice to me.’<\/p>\n

During the celebrity quiz, which was nicknamed ‘Swift Decision,’ Ray asked: ‘Who would you have taken to the prom?’ and Swift responded: ‘It would be a group, and it would be a really fun group.’<\/p>\n

She then gathered together the photos of Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Sheryl Crow, Justin Timberlake, and Diddy and proudly held them up.<\/p>\n

While Swift was in the process of picking the photos – but before she selected Diddy – Ray joked that the Teenage Dream singer was ‘going on a freaky prom date.’<\/p>\n

Once Swift was holding up all the photos, Ray exclaimed: ‘No way! Check that out! That’s a group! Now, why, why that spectacular array of people?’<\/p>\n

Swift answered by offering individual praise to each of her picks, and when she got to Diddy, she said: ‘Diddy’s really always been very nice to me.’<\/p>\n

‘He’s a gentleman, isn’t he? He’s a lovely gentleman,’ said Ray, to which Swift added: ‘I really – he would be fun to be in the prom group.’<\/p>\n

A clip of the exchange surfaced on TikTok this week and provoked a torrent of reactions, as viewers observed that the footage ‘didn’t age well’ or ‘aged like milk.’<\/p>\n

‘Oopsie,’ wrote one TikTok user, while another noted: ‘as a millennial, we looked up to these people. we didn\u2019t know what was really going on. this is like fearless\/speak now taylor. she like 19-21 here.’<\/p>\n

‘This is proof that she only knew Diddy in passing,’ wrote another commenter. ‘If she thought he was a gentleman, she was on some \u201chi, bye s***\u201d’.<\/p>\n

One theorized: ‘”diddys always been really nice to me” she was trying to save herself,’ while another commented: ‘Back when we were all so naive,’ with a tearful emoji.<\/p>\n

‘Momma swift would have never let Taylor Hangout at diddys! Icannot even imagine. Gotta love that she had good parental guidance growing up in the industry. #lovemommaswift,’ a Swift fan argued.<\/p>\n

Diddy was\u00a0arrested last month on federal charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation for purposes of prostitution.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is awaiting trial at the infamous Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, a prison that previously held Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and R Kelly.<\/p>\n

Appearing on DailyMail.com’s hit podcast\u00a0The Trial Of Diddy, prison expert Larry Levine said Diddy is visited by a psych team everyday.<\/p>\n

‘He’s not really on suicide watch but my inside source there tells me that there is someone coming by to visit with him several times a day, you know, to make sure that he’s okay,’ Levine remarked on the podcast.<\/p>\n
