But that has not helped stop discussions about the appalling game they had against the Detroit Lions last week.<\/p>\n<p>With discussions still ripe about the performances of the likes of\u00a0<strong>Dak Prescott<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>CeeDee Lamb<\/strong>, and others, team legend\u00a0<strong>Troy Aikman<\/strong>\u00a0was pulled into one such conversation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mike McCarthy or Dak Prescott? When specifically asked if the lack of pre-season practices led to some missed connections between Lamb and Prescott, Aikman didn\u2019t hold punches.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\n<blockquote><p><em>I think the routes are terrible. I think they run terrible routes. And I\u2019ve thought that beyond this year. I think CeeDee (Lamb) has got to improve in his route running. As a quarterback, if you\u2019re not certain where guys are going to be consistently, it\u2019s hard to play the position. That\u2019s what I see. I see guys lazy coming off the line of scrimmage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><cite>Troy Aikman said<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/firstsportz.com\/tag\/troy-aikman\/\">Troy Aikman<\/a>\u00a0summed up his analogy, mentioning that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/firstsportz.com\/tag\/ceedee-lamb\/\">CeeDee Lamb<\/a>\u00a0and his receiver teammates need to play much better than what they have so far. First, he vented his frustrations after he dropped a crucial catch during the Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n<p>In Week 5\u2019s win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he again was seen\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/firstsportz.com\/pissed-off-ceedee-lamb-lashes-out-at-dejected-dak-prescott-on-sidelines-after-he-threw-interception-against-steelers\/\">mouthing something to Prescott<\/a>. But with the Hall of Famer\u2019s analysis of what is wrong, his fingers are pointing at CeeDee Lamb. Maybe by the reaction\u2026\u2026something to do with the offseason, the lack of moves. All of that\u2019s coming back on Jerry, because he expected to have a really good year, and it\u2019s far from over.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><cite>Troy Aikman said<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The former QB was clear that Jerry Jones\u2019 decision to\u00a0sign Lamb and Prescott that late\u00a0was a major mistake.
