The Golden State Warriors faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers in their final matchup during preseason ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season. Notably, this matchup was a particular showing of the younger stars of each side, with the Warriors winning over the Lakers. This meant\u00a0that star players like\u00a0Stephen Curry<\/strong>,\u00a0LeBron James<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0Anthony Davis<\/strong>\u00a0rested and watched the game from the sidelines.<\/p>\n

However, what caught the NBA community\u2019s attention was the Lakers rookie\u00a0Quincy Olivari<\/strong>\u2018s post-match interview. Interestingly, OIivari had a great night against the Warriors, dropping 22 points on them. After the game, Olivari\u00a0admitted that\u00a0his \u2018favorite player of all time\u2019 was Warriors legend\u00a0Stephen Curry. Not only that, he broke into tears while talking about his interaction with Curry post-game.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know coz I liked him since I was in 6th grade. I don\u2019t even know what to say, man, that\u2019s my favorite player. He told me that I\u2019m a big fan of your game\u2019 and truth be told I\u2019m a big fan of him. You know, I had his jersey, he signed it twice, I used to sleep under his jersey (cries).<\/p>\n
