However, they were eliminated in the first round of the postseason by the Denver Nuggets.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"intersectionObserverRefElement\">\n<p class=\"\">The Lakers were unable to add a third star during the offseason to play alongside James and Davis, and they made few additions to the roster overall with Knecht being the most notable one.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"intersectionObserverRefElement\">\n<p class=\"\">While Snoop is happy with the team, he did express a desire for the Lakers to make a trade for a center if possible in order to take some pressure off of AD.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"intersectionObserverRefElement\">\n<p class=\"\">As of now, it appears likely Davis will begin the 2024-25 season as L.A.&#8217;s starting center with Rui Hachimura at power forward.
