The 3-2 Eagles need to gain some momentum in the NFC playoff hunt. To do so, they\u2019ll need to knock off a 2-3 Giants team that has been plagued by inconsistent play this season.<\/p>\n

Per a statement by the Eagles, the team is playing\u00a0starting left tackle\u00a0Jordan Mailata on injured reserve. He is battling a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n

The seventh-round pick for the Eagles in the 2018 draft has been a staple for Philadelphia, making 62 starts in 67 appearances. Per Pro Football Focus, Mailata has an\u00a088.4 overall grade\u00a0for his play this season.<\/p>\n

With Mailata on injured reserve, the Eagles are expected to start Fred Johnson at left tackle. The undrafted free agent out of Florida has appeared in 50 NFL games and started in nine. He\u2019s been with the Eagles since the 2022 season.<\/p>\n
