I think they run terrible routes. And I&#8217;ve thought that beyond this year. I think CeeDee (Lamb) has got to improve in his route running. As a quarterback, if you&#8217;re not certain where guys are going to be consistently, it&#8217;s hard to play the position. That&#8217;s what I see. I see guys lazy coming off the line of scrimmage. Sometimes they run, usually if they do, it&#8217;s because they&#8217;re anticipating they&#8217;re going to get the football on that play, but if they&#8217;re not, they don&#8217;t. And it all ties together. I&#8217;m not impressed with that part of it. &#8220;<\/p>\n<p><cite class=\"cite_3cdkb4\">&#8211;\u00a0Troy Aikman<\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_4o6kkn-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_1pinbx1-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_0qr12ce84\">Aikman is currently the NFL game analyst for Monday Night Football on ESPN so he is constantly watching film. And what he saw from Dallas didn&#8217;t impress him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_4o6kkn-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_1pinbx1-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_68zo4ir70\">The fact that he thinks when the wide receivers aren&#8217;t getting the ball on a certain play, their effort diminishes is alarming. Calling out Lamb was the most shocking part of his statement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_4o6kkn-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_1pinbx1-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_zj5y5q3fi\" data-uw-rm-sr=\"\">The Cowboys just gave Lamb a four-year, $136 million deal, so they are expecting him to be on the top of his game. And Aikman doesn&#8217;t think he is. But it&#8217;s not Lamb. Jalen Tolbert, KaVontae Turpin, and Jalen Brooks need to do a better job going forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tagStyle_4o6kkn-o_O-style_1tcxgp3-o_O-style_1pinbx1-o_O-style_48hmcm\" data-mm-id=\"_oo1jrzn9z\">It starts in Week 8 as the Cowboys travel to play the San Francisco 49ers coming out of the bye.
