For what it\u2019s worth, Taylor did not practice on Wednesday,\u00a0<strong>but he remains optimistic that he\u2019ll return soon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"1Uq6F7\">Not entirely through the fault of their own\u2014as the Colts were also missing dual-threat starting quarterback Anthony Richardson and two starting interior offensive linemen, the Colts backfield collectively struggled last week. Specifically, Trey Sermon averaged just 1.6 yards per carry on 18 carries, while if you exclude Tyler Goodson\u2019s 33-yard long run, he averaged 2.57 yards respectively on his other 7 carries during last Sunday\u2019s road win.<\/p>\n<p id=\"EbIOBR\">Perhaps Ahmed could be activated as a change-of-pace back and potential shot in the arm.
