Travis Kelce\u00a0is forecasting a storm of criticism \u2014 if the Kansas City Chiefs lose anytime soon.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday\u2019s episode of\u00a0New Heights<\/em>, the NFL star said he anticipates pushback about his relationship with\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0if his currently undefeated team drops a game.<\/p>\n

“I’ve just got to keep winning, as soon as \u2014 if we lose a game, I mean, it’s going to f—ing rain down, baby,\u201d Kelce, 35, told podcast guest\u00a0Pat McAfee. \u201cWe’ve just got to keep winning, keep staying on top.”<\/p>\n

Currently 5-0, the Chiefs are staring down a Super Bowl LVIII rematch against the San Francisco 49ers (3-3) this Sunday.<\/p>\n

As the world champs enjoy an unblemished record \u2014 despite enduring season-ending injuries to Hollywood Brown,\u00a0Rashee Rice\u00a0and, possibly, Isiah Pacheco \u2014\u00a0 the tight end has withstood early criticism about his own slow start.<\/p>\n

But\u00a0College GameDay\u00a0<\/em>co-host McAfee had nothing but positive feedback regarding Kelce\u2019s performance \u2014 on and off the field.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou and Taylor\u2019s relationship is great for the sport,\u201d the retired NFL kicker said. \u201cYou are, and have been, the perfect representation for our sport. I think that there\u2019s no other human that could do what you\u2019re doing right now and how you\u2019re doing it. It\u2019s awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Swift watching from a suite at Arrowhead Stadium for all three of the team\u2019s home games this season, Kelce has also had his girlfriend of a year-plus in his corner.<\/p>\n

As the Chiefs enjoyed their bye week, the couple was seen in New York City for dinner with\u00a0Blake Lively\u00a0and\u00a0Ryan Reynolds, and they pulled up at the New York Yankees-Cleveland Guardians playoff game on Monday, Oct. 14.<\/p>\n

As Kelce watched his hometown team take on the Yankees, he shared that he had \u201cmixed feelings\u201d about the experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m in hostile territory cause it\u2019s the Bronx Bombers and I\u2019m at Yankee Stadium and the playoffs, and I\u2019m over here cheering for the Guards cause I\u2019m a Cleveland kid and I want to see Cleveland win a f—ing World Series,\u201d the Ohio native said the podcast.<\/p>\n
