Travis Kelce\u00a0knows \u201call too well\u201d just how much fun a\u00a0baseball date\u00a0with girlfriend\u00a0Taylor Swift\u00a0can be!<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Kansas City Chiefs\u00a0tight end, 35, opened up about the couple\u2019s recent outing at Yankees Stadium for the first game of the\u00a0MLB American League Championship\u00a0between the\u00a0New York Yankees\u00a0and\u00a0Cleveland Guardians.<\/p>\n

The NFL player, who shared that he was \u201ca Cleveland kid\u201d who wanted to see the team win a \u201cworld series,\u201d noted that the game came with some disappointments, as his team lost 2-5 to the Yankees.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody. All our friends [came],\u201d he recalled on the Wedneday, Oct. 16 episode of his\u00a0New Heights<\/em>\u00a0podcast with brother\u00a0Jason Kelce. \u201cWe had [an] unbelievable crew, with us and hanging with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd, you know, it was, it was fun,\u201d he continued. \u201cEven though the [Guardians] couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting, exciting game. And it was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I’ve always wanted to see that thing in person in a playoff game, in a hostile environment, and it didn’t disappoint, man. The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was awesome,\u201d he summarized.<\/p>\n

Travis, who wore a baseball hat decorated with \u201cMidnight Rodeo\u201d to the game, was spotted sharing some PDA with Swift during the playoffs event. In\u00a0clips posted online,\u00a0the Super Bowl champion and Grammy winner could be seen high-fiving one another and holding hands. At one point, Swift was spotted placing her hand on Kelce’s shoulder.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs player and his brother, who grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, have been lifelong fans of their hometown baseball team. They shared on\u00a0New Heights<\/em>\u00a0that they had been going to Cleveland games since before the team changed its name from the Indians to Guardians.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just grew up in the ’90s with the Indians, and we just loved baseball so much because they were so good,\u201d Jason recalled. \u201cHow many world series or playoff games did we go to?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to the All-Star. You went to the World Series,\u201d Travis responded. \u201cI remember going to just taking the rapid downtown and going to games for, like, a $5, $10 ticket. Or if a friend had an extra ticket for me, we would all just jump on the rapid and go downtown.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Guardians lost to the Yankees again on Tuesday with a score of 3-6. The two teams are set to square off in two more games scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 17, and Friday, Oct. 18, and three more possible games on Saturday, Oct. 19,\u00a0 Monday, Oct. 21 and Tuesday, Oct. 22. The winner will either face the\u00a0New York Mets\u00a0or\u00a0Los Angeles Dodgers\u00a0in the World Series.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Swift has become something of a regular at attending sporting events since she began dating her football player beau. So far this season she has attended the Chiefs’\u00a0first two games.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSo High School\u201d singer has also attended 13 NFL games since she confirmed she was dating Travis in October 2023. This included an appearance at the\u00a0Super Bowl, where the pair celebrated his second-straight championship with\u00a0a kiss on the field\u00a0after the game.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
