The Cowboys put together an\u00a0impressive win\u00a0in Cleveland in their season opener on Sunday, a 33-17 victory\u00a0that wasn\u2019t really as close as the score made it seem.<\/p>\n

Among those most impressed? Count\u00a0six-time Super Bowl champion and former head coach Bill Belichick in that group.<\/p>\n

In his most recent \u201cCoach\u201d podcast with Matt Patricia and Michael Lombardi, Belichick had praise for virtually every aspect of the Cowboys\u2019 first win of the season, from their ability to play with the lead, to performances from Brandon Aubrey and DeMarvion Overshown, among others, to the successes in player development the front office has overseen in recent seasons.<\/p>\n

Belichick:\u00a0<\/b>\u201cNobody\u2019s better at playing ahead than Dallas is. They can control the ball offensively, and they can play from ahead on defense with their pass rush and their coverage players. That really plays into their hands, we\u2019ll see what happens when they get into a tighter game, maybe they have to play from behind.\u201d<\/p>\n
