{"id":12700,"date":"2024-10-15T07:37:55","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T07:37:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportnews.drinkfood.info\/?p=12700"},"modified":"2024-10-15T07:37:55","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T07:37:55","slug":"breaking-bradley-chubb-of-the-miami-dolphins-is-still-in-the-recovery-process-and-needs-more-time-to-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportnews.drinkfood.info\/?p=12700","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING: Bradley Chubb of the Miami Dolphins is still in the recovery process and needs more time to return."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MIAMI GARDENS \u2014 As the Miami Dolphins defense\u00a0must play the rest of the season without Jaelan Phillips\u00a0on one end of the line, the other half of the team\u2019s standout duo at outside linebacker is still not ready to debut in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Dolphins edge defender Bradley Chubb will not be making his return to practice this week,\u00a0while on the physically-unable-to-perform list\u00a0rehabbing the torn ACL in a knee suffered Dec. 31 of last season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t expect to see Bradley this week,\u201d Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Monday, \u201cand as far as weeks moving forward, we\u2019ll see. But I don\u2019t expect that to happen this week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Miami (2-3), coming off its bye week, is set to visit the Indianapolis Colts (3-3) in a 1 p.m. kickoff Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The Dolphins will likely again turn to Emmanuel Ogbah,\u00a0rookie Chop Robinson\u00a0and veteran Tyus Bowser, who is\u00a0going into his second game with the team, against the Colts.<\/p>\n<p>McDaniel, though,\u00a0like with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa coming back from concussion, does expect Chubb to make a return this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe way he\u2019s attacked and the way he has really come back from a pretty serious injury, I\u2019m optimistic that he will, for sure,\u201d the Dolphins coach said. \u201cJust because we haven\u2019t had any setbacks or anything. I\u2019m optimistic for that, but I can promise you that, whenever he is back, he couldn\u2019t have been back any sooner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll be excited for when he gets back on the field.
