Kayla Nicole has finally set the record straight about claims that\u00a0Travis Kelce<\/span>\u00a0made her split the bill on dates during their relationship.<\/p>\n

Nicole, who dated the\u00a0Kansas<\/span>\u00a0City Chiefs star on and off for five years before his romance with\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/span>, addressed rumors that her ex-boyfriend was ‘cheap’ on\u00a0WNBA<\/span>\u00a0star\u00a0Angel Reese’s ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast.<\/p>\n

But the influencer and broadcaster insisted there is absolutely no truth to them.<\/p>\n

When Reese asked if that was the reason they broke up in 2022, Nicole replied: ‘Do I look like I would go 50-50 on bills?<\/p>\n

‘So yeah, that was ridiculous. But he addressed that too though.<\/p>\n

‘I don’t even know why that became a thing. That was never an issue in our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor on the internet.’<\/p>\n

Kelce rubbished claims that he and Nicole – who admits she has since\u00a0fallen out with Chiefs WAGs she used to be friends with<\/span>\u00a0after their split – went their separate ways because he made her pay her way, saying on\u00a0The Pivot\u00a0podcast back in January 2023: ‘How crazy is that? Don\u2019t buy into that s**t!’<\/p>\n

Since he separated from Kayla, Travis has of course gone on to form one of the most famous relationships on the planet with pop megastar Taylor.<\/p>\n

The couple have dominated headlines since Swift publicly confirmed their romance in September 2023, and Nicole says she has had to deal with the\u00a0backlash from her ‘crazy’ fans<\/span>\u00a0on social media.<\/p>\n

‘I think the combination of everything is the perfect storm to make you want to disappear from the world entirely,’ she admitted to Reese.<\/p>\n

‘Behind closed doors, the hardest part is losing a partner, a best friend, speaking every day to cutting ties.\u00a0Then you throw in social media.<\/p>\n

‘I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and online chaos didn’t impact me, even to this day. You could go to my most recent posts and people would be debating why I am worthless.<\/p>\n

‘It is nothing to do with me. I think there is something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people, which is unfortunate because I don’t think I have done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.’<\/p>\n

Reese also asked Nicole if she and Kelce would be ‘cool’ with each other if they ever crossed paths.<\/p>\n

‘I’d probably like hit him with a head nod,’ she said. ‘That’s about it.<\/p>\n
