Mike McDaniel confident Miami Dolphins can score enough points to beat Tennessee Titans

The 0-3 Tennessee Titans and 1-2 Miami Dolphins are set for a Monday Night Football showdown at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.

EDT. The Titans, boasting a 26-19 all-time record on Monday Night Football, have won nine of their last twelve appearances.

Despite their strong primetime history, the Titans enter the matchup as slight underdogs at +1 on the spread. The Dolphins are favored at -1, with the over/under set at a low 36.5 points.

Moneyline odds sit at -120 for Miami and +100 for Tennessee.

Injuries are a significant factor for both teams. The Titans will be without wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie, while the Dolphins navigate the absence of starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Miami may turn to either Tyler Huntley or Tim Boyle under center, while Skylar Thompson and Raheem Mostert’s availability remains uncertain.

The Titans will look to exploit a struggling Miami offense that’s averaging a league-worst 11 points per game. Tennessee’s defense, currently ranked fifth overall, has allowed the second-fewest passing yards and ninth-fewest rushing yards this season.

However, the Dolphins counter with offensive weapons like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who could pose problems for the Titans’ secondary.

The game represents a pivotal moment for both franchises. The Titans aim to avoid their first 0-4 start since 2009, while the Dolphins hope to rebound from consecutive losses.

With both teams battling injuries and inconsistency, a low-scoring, closely contested game seems likely.
