Arsenal may have found its next big star on its belt of ability.
It comes after a 14-year-old was said to be a rising star for England.
In the past few years, the Gunners’ Hale End school has turned out some big names, like teenager Ethan Nwaneri and Crystal Palace star Eddie Nketiah. But Bukayo Saka is the most famous of them all.
Gustavo Oliveira, the school coach, sees Max Dowman, a wonder kid, as the next big thing to come out of the club.
The teen is known for being able to dribble the ball quickly and well.
PL Brasil reported that he even said Dowman was like the famous Brazilian player Kaka.
“He plays like Kaka,” he said.
“He knows how to write his name.” His dream is to play for England and in the Premier League one day.
This is how good Dowman is: he plays for Jack Wilshere’s Under-18 team and made his start for the England Under-17s last month.
He recently played really well against Birmingham. He had two goals in a 3-2 comeback win.
Wilshere praised him a lot after the game, saying, “Max’s performances speak for themselves, but he still has a lot of room to grow.”
“He has impossible character and personality for a 14-year-old.” His name was on the ball when we were down 2-0.
“He pushed their defense and made things happen.” It’s amazing that he kept going even though he was getting kicked and stayed calm.
Dowman played in the Uefa Youth League for Arsenal’s Under-19s last month, making him the second-youngest player in the tournament’s history. He joined Evan Ferguson and Shola Shoretire as players who played in the competition when they were 14.
