Rafael Nadal’s sister Maribel shared glimpses from her recent beach getaway with friends. However, she did not disclose the location.
Nadal is enduring a difficult season, with an underwhelming 12-7 win-loss record, with injuries hampering his full participation. The Spaniard, now ranked 154th in the ATP rankings, has opted to skip major events, including Wimbledon, the US Open, and most recently, the Laver Cup.
The 22-time Major champion, however, has long received unwavering support from his family, including younger sister Maribel. The former World No. 1 went recently on a trip to Lake Como, Italy, with his family, highlights of which were shared by her on Instagram. In the pictures, she is posing elegantly at a beach with two of her friends, at an undisclosed location.

Maribel completed her master’s degree in sports management at Pompeu Fabra University and now manages marketing and sales at the Rafael Nadal Academy. She regularly posts updates on social media.
Maribel has consistently demonstrated her unwavering support for Nadal during his matches. The 35-year-old often travels with her elder brother to his tournaments, joined by their parents, his wife Maria, and their baby son.

Maribel fondly reminisced the siblings’ childhood while celebrating Rafael Nadal’s 38th birthday on June 3. The Spaniard celebrated his birthday with his students at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca. Photos from the day were later shared on the academy’s official Instagram account.
The caption read:

Maribel later shared her thoughts with “heart-eye” emojis. The 35-year-old also reminisced about her childhood with the tennis legend by sharing a fan-made birthday post on her Instagram.
Following his fourth-round exit from the 2024 Madrid Open, Nadal was honored among thousands of home fans. The emotional moment moved his family members at the Manolo Santana Stadium., including Maribel, to tears.
Rafael Nadal’s best performance this season came at the ATP 250 event in Bastad, where he reached the final but ultimately lost to Nuno Borges. He also competed in the Paris Olympics, where he was defeated by Novak Djokovic in the second round and lost in the quarterfinals of the doubles event with Carlos Alcaraz.
